How is TeamTales different from Kahoot?＋

Kahoot is excellent for general knowledge and training. TeamTales is designed around privately collected personal stories, organizer review, meaningful reveals, and conversation after each answer.

Do players need an account or app?＋

No. Players open a link or enter a short event code in their browser. Only organizers need an account.

Can guests choose what is used?＋

Yes. Every answer requires consent for quiz use. Guests can also mark information as context-only and ask the organizer to remove it.

Does the AI invent stories about people?＋

No. Assisted drafting is limited to information a guest submitted. Every result is a draft and must be approved by the organizer before play.

Are there advertisements?＋

No. TeamTales uses simple one-time event purchases for premium access instead.

Can we play in teams instead of individually?＋

Yes. Classic is hosted from one shared screen. Team Quest gives each team a private code and one shared team device for collaborative challenges.

Can we use childhood photos or audio?＋

Consented childhood and story photos work in the MVP. Audio is intentionally left for a later release.

What happens to our data afterward?＋

The organizer can delete an event immediately or enable automatic deletion. The planned production default is seven days after the event.

What if the venue has unreliable Wi-Fi?＋

The presentation is designed to recover after a connection drop. A future offline host mode can also run the approved deck locally while teams answer aloud.

How do paid events work?＋

Team Night and Team Quest are one-time event purchases, not subscriptions. You can build first and unlock the paid limits when the event is ready.
